and what we're made without

Conventional cotton

Conventional cotton is used in most traditional brand period care. This material is known as ‘the dirtiest crop in the world’ due to it’s use of toxic pesticides which cause damage to humans and the planet. That’s why, wherever you see cotton in our period care, it’s organic. Morover, it’s GOTS certified, meaning it’s guaranteed to be free of toxic pesticides as well as ethically sourced.

Viscose and rayon

Did you know, most big brand tampons contain viscose and rayon – synthetic fibres that take hundreds of years to degrade and have no business being near our highly absorbent vaginas. With our tampons and pads, you can trust that whatever material touches your body is synthetic-free.

Fragrances and odor neutralizers

Nope…just…nope! These added ‘innovations’ contain thousands of harmful chemical compounds and frankly, we don’t need them. If you’re experiencing smells or irriations during your period, it’s possibly the products you’re using. Rather than switching to a fragranced product, try switching to organic cotton or a cup instead
